Prof. Fathim Rashna Kallingal is an Urban Planner and an Architect with over 14 years of experience. She graduated in Architecture from College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram in 2004 and completed Master of Planning (Urban Planning) in 2017 from National Institute of Technology Calicut. She is also pursuing PhD from Department of Architecture and Planning, National Institute of Technology Calicut. As an Architect, she had been working at various places including India and U.A.E. As an academician, she had been visiting several institutions in Kerala as Faculty of Design.
She has been associated with ASADI since the inception of the concept, while her tenure at M/s Ajit Associates Architectural Consultancy Pvt. Ltd as Assistant Director, Architecture since 2011. Presently, she is the Vice Principal of the College. She is also a part of the consultancy wing of the institute and works as an independent consultant in the field of Architecture and Planning with special focus on Research and Development. She has presented papers at 5th International Conference on Sustainable Development (5th ICSD 2017) at Rome, Italy and International Conference on Working Class Districts 2017 at Vienna, Austria during September 2017. Her fields of interests include architectural design, city planning, regional development and planning, human development, sustainable development and policy research.
