Another feather to ASADI’s cap! ASADI Research Division (ARD) represented by our Faculty Ar. Prof. Fathim Rashna Kallingal , Ar.Prof. Sreelakshmi Menon and Ar. Prof. Athul Narayanan won first prize in “TARANG ’18 DATA HACKATHON: Forecasting and Managing Disaster: Data-driven solutions to effectively predict and manage natural calamities”, of ‘Rebuild Kerala’ themed Symposium, a National Level Fest organized by School of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology Calicut on 5th of October 2018. With a vision towards ‘Resilient Kerala’, ARD proposed data-driven spatial solutions (Spatial planning, Urban design and Architecture) for effective disaster management, in the context of the recent floods in Kerala.
ASADI Research Division was formed in addition to ACD (ASADI Consultancy Division), to strengthen the institute’s social commitments and works. With major focus on R&D in the fields of Architecture and Planning, ARD would identify and take up social issues/problems in the fields and provide implementable solutions and strategies through scientific research.
