ASADI SEEKS TO BE A MULTIDISCIPLINARY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE AND HOLISTIC DESIGN EDUCATION.

ASADI shall strive to develop graduates of international distinction by providing high quality education. It shall strive to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and scientific research. It seeks to develop a strong R&D infrastructure with numerous facilities and labs with modern state of the art equipment’s. It aims to be the hub of multidisciplinary learning, innovation and high-end research in Architecture in India.

Students will be able to choose from several allied design programmes in various disciplines like Cinematography, Music, Interior Design, Product Design and Furniture Design. Architecture shall be the core course while students can pick from other skill-based courses to develop their capabilities. Conferences, Workshops and Seminars will be conducted throughout the academic year, with active participation from the Industry and Academia.

VISION

Institutional Development and Strategic Plan shall be a well-established process at ASADI to evaluate the progress made in achieving the Vision 2030 of the Institute and to ensure that ASADI aggressively advances towards its mission. This robust planning and implementation process aim at enabling ASADI to achieve global standards and excellence in the area of academics, research and innovation in Architecture & Design.

To provide excellent and stimulating multidisciplinary academic and research environment that is responsive to the needs of the global and local communities and help students meet economic, social, and environmental challenges to emerge as one of the best institutions globally for sustainable built environment, education and research.

MISSION

To deliver high quality multidisciplinary design education and research that empowers students to develop imaginative and creative skills required for the future. ASADI will be dedicated to fostering a diverse holistic educational community and cultural learning environment that supports student success in pursuit of academic excellence, economic opportunity, and personal achievement by achieving the strategic plan of the school.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of ASADI are to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional, research and extension facilities in such branches of Design as it may deem fit. This will allow are graduated to diversify into pluralistic areas in Architecture & Design. ASADI endeavors to provide to students and teachers the conducive atmosphere and facilities and infrastructure for the promotion of:

  • Innovation and Research in Design education leading to restructuring of courses, introducing new courses, new methods of teaching and learning and integral development of personality
  • Studies in established and new disciplines
  • Inter-disciplinary studies
  • National integration, secularism, international understanding and ethics
ASADI students shall gain an impressive range of knowledge and skills whilst studying at the School. These overarching attributes are organized using ten headings which identifies the differentiating characteristics, mentioned below:

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE IN ARCHITECTURE & OTHER ALLIED SUBJECTS

Graduates of ASADI will acquire and apply Knowledge of the content and techniques of Architecture as a core course at advanced levels along with skills in allied design courses such as Graphic Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Cinematography that are internationally recognized and a commitment to the highest standards of professional endeavor with an ability to take a leadership role in the community.

RESEARCH AND ENQUIRY

Graduates of ASADI will think independently, analytically and creatively and develop an ability to create new knowledge and understanding through the process of innovative research and inquiry.

TECHNOLOGY, INFORMATION & DIGITAL LITERACY

Graduates of ASADI will be technologically, digitally and information literate and demonstrate an ability to locate, analyze, evaluate and synthesize information from a wide variety of sources in a planned and timely manner and use that information to generate innovative solutions.

PROBLEM SOLVING & CRITICAL THINKING:

Graduates of ASADI will demonstrate an ability to apply effective, creative and innovative solutions, both independently and cooperatively to current and future problems.

COMMUNICATION

Graduates of ASADI will possess a high standard of verbal, graphical, visual and written communication skills relevant to the field of Architecture and other allied Design Courses and multilingualism would be encouraged at the institute. This would enable the student to communicate their design ideas globally as well as locally.

Graduates of ASADI will develop an ability to maintain level-headedness in behavior despite achievement of high performance & success and demonstrate skills of high order in interpersonal understanding, teamwork and Leadership.
